Finally finished this beast, a colour version of this bit.ly/17xYfup ink drawing I did the other week.
I'm not going to lie, this took me a really, really long time! I've not got a tremendous amount of experience when it comes to digital painting, so doing this was a huge learning curve for me. I could have spent a lot more time on it, fiddling around, but I need to move on to other work now, for time saving reasons and to save my sanity, haha.
Used Adobe Illustrator in combination with Photoshop to create a lot of the geometric elements. Clipping masks, pen tool, paths, channels, selections, and layers...lots and lots of layers.

Overall Vision
Originality Technique ImpactThis is an Incredible update to *S-E-S previous "Armoured Girl Gun". I only have one small correction, and that is that "Armoured" is spelled "Armored". Unless that was the intention. As for the vision, The colors are beautiful and captivating to no extent! The originality in the artwork stands as a great achievement. S-E-S's technique is, suffice to say, FLAWLESS! The attention to detail is incomparable. From the bullet holes in the shoulder pads down the the rosy cheeks. This artist used every inch of the canvas to paint a beautiful image that we are all privileged to. This piece of artwork, is by far the greatest use of paint tool sai that I have seen in a very long time. I am going to closely watch this artist and strongly recommend you to do the same. I'm very optimistic to see new work from S-E-S and I hope that he/she knows that this Girl is a cornerstone of what a upcoming artist should look to achieve.
